Cared for properly, solid gold and lab-grown diamonds last a lifetime. A few simple habits keep a piece looking the way it did on the first day.
Last on, first off
Put your jewelry on after perfume, lotion and hairspray, and take it off before you undress. Cosmetics dull gold over time and leave a film across a diamond that makes it look lifeless.
When to take it off
Remove pieces before swimming, showering, sleeping, exercising, cleaning or gardening. Chlorine attacks the alloys in gold, and a knock at the wrong angle can loosen a stone.
Cleaning at home
Soak for a few minutes in warm water with a drop of mild dish soap, brush gently with a soft toothbrush, rinse and pat dry with a soft cloth. Never use bleach, acetone or ultrasonic cleaners.
Storing it
Keep each piece separately in its INARA box or a soft pouch. Diamonds are hard enough to scratch gold and each other, so pieces stored loose together will mark.

Send any INARA piece back to us whenever you wish and we will clean, inspect and re-polish it — complimentary, for the life of the piece.
